Sun elves were the greatest in magecraft and artifice among all the elves. Olare and Cainrelee were both patrons whose lore they held in high esteem. Unlike other branches of the elven race, Sun elves tended to build and congregate in wondrous cities where they could better collaborate on philosophy and grand works.
From their host arose the original emperors of the elven race. Sadly their creativity was matched only by their hubris and Elsemar suffered greatly for it. The Daemonshade is a constant reminder of their shame.
